The brief
Numen Academy runs road-safety training programs. They needed a single platform to manage the full cycle: course scheduling, student assignment, instructors, attendance, certifications. What existed before was spreadsheets.
What I shipped
A role-based React + Redux app with a Material UI / Tailwind hybrid design. Admins managed the calendar, instructors ran their sessions, students booked slots. The scheduling engine handled conflicts, capacity and cancellations without hand-holding.
Takeaway
Most interesting problem: making a complex role-based UI legible to users who had never used software for this before. Shipped with heavy onboarding and contextual tooltips, and kept iterating based on instructor feedback until friction dropped.
