Pokedex - An enhanced PokeAPI experience

The idea

A second pass at my very first React project - this time with everything I'd learned since. Four color themes, client-side filtering and sorting, pagination, favorites, detail view, a roulette to pick a random Pokémon, and actual cry sounds when you open a card.

What I shipped

• Full CRUD over favorites with persistence.
• Theme switcher reaching every surface (no flashes).
• Styled Components layered on MUI for brand-specific visual flair.
• Accessible keyboard nav across the grid.

Why it matters

This was my benchmark for "what would I do differently given time?". Shipping it made the delta between junior-me and then-me concrete - every decision had a reason.
